In the context of the Milieu Intérieur project a large number of biological datasets are generated to support the characterization of a healthy immune system. Since the beginning of the project, the challenge of integrating, and sharing this rich data set has been identified as a key objective of the project.
The project has evaluated different software solutions that lead to select the Open Source platform LabKey (www.labkey.org).
The LabKey software provides, as a web service, a full featured datawarehouse to store, curate, and query our data.
As today, the eCRF, cytometry and proteomics data, have been integrated.
For the year to come, we anticipate a significant amount of work focused on the integration of the genomics and transcriptomics profiles, as well as the enterotypes extracted from stool samples. Finally, another essential activity will be related to the organization of trainings to empower the members of the consortium in using the datawarehouse.
