Genetic data

To discover genetic factors affecting human immune responses, we obtained genotypic data for a predefined selection of 730,000 genomic positions that vary within the Milieu Intérieur cohort.

In 2016, we also assessed epigenetic variation at >850,000 genomic positions in the entire cohort, to evaluate how immune variation relates with DNA methylation.

Genetic data

The publication that describes the genetic data from Milieu Intérieur is:

Natural variation in the parameters of innate immune cells is preferentially driven by genetic factors

In 2018, we have sequenced the whole genomes of all participants at high depth of coverage (30×). We discovered more than 34 million genetic variants, which are currently analyzed by the MI core team.
